As some of you may have noticed me and emily are both now listed as single on facebook. The reason for this is because neither of us really wanted a long distance relationship and even if i moved back to manchester in a few months, emily would be finishing uni and moving back to leeds, so we would have the same problem. We've split up on good terms though and have promised to stay friends. Just thought i'd post this here to explain whats going on.
Living with my parents in nuneaton hasn't been too bad so far, got everything unpacked and im pretty much settled in. the only problem i've had so far has been with BT being crap as usual and trying to tell me my parents house has no telephone lines even though i was ringing them from one.....

well as some of you may know, i've been trying to get on a microsoft certified course for about 4 and half months now, but it's taken too long for the banks to sort out my career development loan and i've ran out of money. So as much as it sucks, it looks like i'm gonna have to move back to my parents place in the midlands. Hopefully i'll be able to come up every so often, but god knows when (gonna come up for james stag do and wedding and the cosplay party no matter what though). Good news is i'm not moving out til sunday so i'll still be able to go to the wintereenmas stuff over the weekend, see most of you there and any i dont see, goodbye and see you soon.

finnaly settled in at home, train journey was a bastard, but when i got home, i found out someone had a wireless connection that wasnt secured, WOO free internet for me!!
family took me to a chinese buffet, twas cool. it had all the normal buffet stuff, as well as japanese stuff(shushi, teppenyaki, etc), a karoke room, and a chocolate fountain!! was a little bit more expensive than most manchester ones, but quite worth it.

for st pats day (friday 17th of march this year) a few of use (me, emily, potato, james) wanna go see The Sultans of Ping vs Mark Ratcliffe (of mark and lard fame) and the Family Mahone.
its in the academy 2 and tickets only cost £10, probably be drinking in the union before and after.

hmm, just spent most of today remembering why i hate pc games......
just built a fairly reasonable powerful computer (AMD sempron 2500+, 768mb ram, 160gb hard drive, Radeon 9250 128mb) and i've been trying play some computer games on it for a week or two. installed all the latest drivers and such like yet whenever i play a game for more than an hour or two, the computer just locks-up!! tried all the fixes people have suggested on the internet and still it locks-up. tried tying a fan to the side of the graphics card (pretty sure that the root of the problems) yet it still locks-up!!! I know how hard it is to program to get stuff to work on any computer, but this is stupidly annoying, why cant pc games be more like console games, stick game in, turn on and it works, every time!
gah, just glad i didnt buy this computer just for games, and that it does everything else i want it to perfectly *sigh

In a world first, Gorillaz' smash hit second album Demon Days will be performed in its entirety across five consecutive nights (November 1st - 5th) at the Opera House, Manchester (taken from here)
ticket go on sale this monday (3rd october) and cost £38, £34, £28, £18 or £12.
i really wanna go see this, who wants to come down with me tommorrow (monday) to get tickets?
